What Else Is New?!
For our previous members, you probably can tell that a lot has changed. With the new website that Boise State is using to promote clubs, there are some awesome tools to use to make our club communicate with style. Our goal is to have a monthly newsletter sent with a group email. Then, for more immediate emails, it will be sent by one of our officers. Since all officers have busy schedules, we will take turns hosting events.
This year, we are focusing on bigger events and online engagement. Instead of weekly meetings, we are turning those into weekly discussions, forums, and surveys on Campus Groups! Where can we share and post about our favorite movies or the newest film gear. However, we ask please stay respectful to others. This is still under Boise State's supervision, so treat it as such! (More details to come soon). So watch out for our events and stay up to date with Campus Groups!
We are planning exciting events like the Boise International Short Film Festival, Mixers to make new friends, workshops to learn film fundamentals (including acting), and fun activities like trips, movie discussions, arts and crafts, and possibly karaoke!
